Flora Wolves Looking for Consistency Amid .500 Year

FLORA — Flora baseball has hovered around the .500 mark since the very beginning of the season. They’ve been no more than two games over .500, or three games under .500 all season long. And with the season wrapping up, Wolves coach Brian Tackitt is hoping his team can start a winning streak.

Tackitt says the problem has been inconsistent play.

The Wolves will play a doubleheader with Pinckneyville and Nashville Saturday before facing host Newton in the semifinal of a Class 2A Regional Thursday.
