Terriers Looking for Revenge in Playoff Rematch With Cahokia

CARBONDALE — In week five of the high school football season, the Cahokia Comanches beat the Carbondale Terriers 28-7 on their way to running through the South Seven for a conference championship. On Saturday, Bryan Lee and his team will have a chance for revenge on Cahokia in the second round of the IHSA football playoffs.

Lee’s Terriers beat Champaign Central 31-28 Saturday night. He says with five games in the books since that matchup, and with more video to study the Comanches, he thinks his team can make the adjustments to get a win this Saturday.

Carbondale will travel to Cahokia again on Saturday for the Class 5A second round playoff matchup. Kickoff is scheduled for 3 p.m.
